Our Music Ministry
Worship is the focus of our musical life at Good Shepherd.
Worship is a holy conversation between God and his people. He speaks to us and
we, in turn, voice our prayers and praise. Part of our praise is raised in
music and song. With over fifty people participating in our choirs and Praise
Team, it is evident that our Music Ministry is important to us. While there are
several musical opportunities for adults, the primary focus of our Music Ministry
Program is on the young people of our congregation. Your child will not only
learn the basics of singing, hand bell ringing, and music theory and composition,
but also proper prayer and worship etiquette and the joy of praising Jesus!
There are so many musical opportunities at Good Shepherd,
some that have been part of the Music Ministry for over 25 years! What a
wonderful way to praise the Lord by singing and making music to our King! No
musical experience is necessary, just a willingness to make a joyful noise to
the Lord.
